Laura & Allyson are crazy for Pacific Knit Co’s Doodle Sets! Pick some official doodles, design your own charts, or mix and match to knit your own perfect doodle vest in this class!

WHEN? Six Sundays - June 22, 29, July 6, August 3, 10 & 24 - 1-2:30pm CT

ALSO - a bonus materials class will be held on Monday May 19, 6:30-7pm CT. Late to signing up? This recording will be included in your welcome email.

This class also includes a workroom at LauraAllyson.Party so knitters can interact with each other and show off their progress between classes! Students that sign up who are not already members will receive a free membership for the duration of the class - a $30 value! But please note - this will NOT be included if you register for recordings only class access.

We’ll learn:
Gauge and sizing
Designing a bottom up sweater vest from scratch with your measurements and gauge!
Adding steek panels to make armholes and v neck!
Design your own all over color work
Reinforcing and cutting open your steek panels
Picking up stitches for the v neck and armholes
Custom armhole sizing
Custom body shape and length
Perfect v neck depth

Needles:
Needles that correspond with the yarn you’ll be using.

Notions:
Stitch Markers
Tapestry needle
Steek reinforcement materials! needle felting or sewing

Yarn: Any yarn weight will work for this class as we’ll be designing it based on your gauge!

NOTES ABOUT THIS CLASS!

• Classes are taught live from Laura & Allyson’s home studios.

• Each class features 4 cameras - Laura & Allyson will both have a hand camera so you can see close ups of every detailed demo, and a face camera for face to face interaction.

• Classes are kept small so everyone gets the personal attention they need to succeed!

• Each class will be recorded and sent out to everyone to make it easy for student’s to rewatch important moments, or if a student needs to miss a live class.

• After each class has 10 students sign up to attend the live classes, a recording only option will open up at 60% of the cost of the class. If you sign up for the recordings only option you won’t have access to attend the live classes, but you will be sent the recordings every week and be able to email Laura & Allyson any questions you have along the way.
