The accommodations are broken up into room and room type now, so when you sign up you are choosing a bed in a particular room. Each room with an en suite bathroom is noted, and if a room doesn’t say it has an en suite bathroom it has access to a shared bathroom near your room. Full price list is below.
Full Room Breakdown:
Room 2 (en suite bathroom): 1 king bed and 1 twin bed
Room 4: 1 king bed
Room 5: 1 king bed and 1 twin bed
Room 6: 2 twin beds
Room 7 (en suite bathroom): 1 king bed and 2 twin beds
Room 8 (en suite bathroom): 1 king bed and 1 twin bed
Room 9: 2 twin beds
Room 10: 1 king bed
Room 11 (en suite bathroom): 1 king bed and 2 twin beds
Full Accommodation Pricing Breakdown:
$2200 - A king bed in a two person room with private bathroom
$2200 - A king bed in a single room with shared bathroom
$2000 - A king bed in a three person room with private bathroom
$2000 - A king bed in a two person room with shared bathroom
$1800 - A twin bed in a two person room with a private bathroom
$1600 - A twin bed in a two room with a shared bathroom
$1600 - A twin bed in a three person room with a private bathroom
You can pay in full or you can choose to pay a deposit of 25% of your total retreat fee. You will be charged half of your remaining balance 1 month later, and your final payment will be made 1 month after that. Deposits are nonrefundable. If you choose to pay in full and need to cancel more than 1 month before the retreat, we will refund you 75% of your payment - 10% administration fee.

“Back in 2009 I started my blog, Grainline Studio, as a creative outlet while working as a pattern maker in Chicago. Sensing a hole in the home sewing market, I launched our first pattern in 2011 and things took off from there! I’m passionate about teaching and firmly believe that sewing isn’t hard, you just need to take things one step at a time, figure out what works for you, and that the best tip anyone can give is to practice.
I also believe that there isn’t one technique that works for every person and that’s what’s so great about sewing – the multitude of different ways that can work to achieve the same outcome. My team and I strive to bring you, our customers quality, professional patterns along with all the help and information you may need to bring your ideas to life. 7pm: Pizza party from South Shore Ovenworks
8-10pm: Craft & chill!
SUNDAY
7-10am: A la cart breakfast
9-12pm: Sewing Time & Demos
11-1pm: A la cart lunch
12-5pm: Sewing Time & Demos
5-6pm: Happy hour drinks and snacks
6pm: Dinner from a local caterer
8-10pm: Sewing Pack up & Me Made Fashion Show
MONDAY
7-9am: A la cart breakfast
10am: Check out and head back home!
Please note that we have a limited number of sewing machines available for you to borrow if you can’t bring your own machine! We’ll also have shared supplies and sergers set up all weekend long.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made up to 1 month prior to the retreat are eligible for a balance payment refund minus a 10% administration fee. Deposits are non-refundable.
Because of the potential for a dramatic Michigan weather event, if there is a blizzard and we have to cancel the retreat you will get a full refund.
